§ 01 Who we are
QuietVPN VPN Ltd. operates the QuietVPN VPN VPN service and is the data controller. For anything privacy-related, write to privacy@pn-v3-04.pages.dev.
§ 02 Data we collect
Your account email, subscription status from Apple/Google, and support messages. We do not collect connection logs, DNS queries, IP addresses in a session, browsing history, or bandwidth-per-user.
§ 03 How we use it
To run the service, reply to support, comply with tax law, and detect abuse. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, automated decisions, or AI training, and will not share with any third-party AI without explicit consent.
§ 04 VPN commitment
QuietVPN VPN does not sell, use, or disclose user data to third parties for any purpose. We have no connection logs to disclose.
§ 05 Processors
Apple & Google for billing, Stripe for web subscriptions, Cloudflare for hosting. Each has signed a DPA and provides equal protection as outlined here.
§ 06 Retention
Account email: until cancellation +30 d. Billing records: 7 years (UK tax law). Support tickets: 180 days. Aggregate load: 30 days. Connection logs: none kept.
§ 07 International transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved 4 June 2021.
§ 08 GDPR rights
EEA/UK/CH users have access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection, and restriction rights, plus the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Email privacy@pn-v3-04.pages.dev.
§ 09 California (CCPA)
California residents have rights to know, delete, opt out of sale (moot — we do not sell), correct, and non-discrimination.
§ 10 Security & breach
AES-256, TLS 1.3, tmpfs log dirs, annual audit. Breach notification within 72 hours per Art. 33/34 GDPR.
§ 11 Changes
Material changes are announced by email 30 days before effect.
